2 charged after police allegedly find drugs and weapons in vehicle during traffic stop

A Regina man, 48, and a Fort Qu’Appelle man, 36, face multiple charges after police say they found drugs and weapons in their vehicle during a traffic stop on Sunday.

Regina police say they stopped the “suspicious looking” vehicle on the 100-block of Dorothy Street shortly after 8 a.m.

According to police, Ryan Scott Star Dieter, the driver, and Dejan Vuckovic were both arrested for outstanding warrants and breaching probation.

Police say they found drugs, break-and-enter tools and weapons in the vehicle.

Dieter’s charges include possession of a prohibited weapon and two counts of possessing a scheduled substance, police say.

According to police, Vuckovic, who was identified as a suspect from Saturday after allegedly evading police, faces charges that include fleeing from a peace officer.

Both suspects appeared in court on Monday morning.
