Police are seeking a suspect after a cab driver in Peterborough was robbed on Wednesday night.
Peterborough Police Service say around 11 p.m., a taxi driver was dispatched to pick up a fare in a Dutton Road parking lot.
Police say a man entered the cab, brandished a knife and demanded money from the driver. The driver handed over an unknown amount of cash, then the customer exited the taxi and fled the area on foot.
Police were called and officers, along with the K9 Unit, were dispatched to the area.
The suspect is described as Caucasian, standing 6′ tall, with facial hair. He was wearing a hoodie.
