History
Edmonton-Manning was created in 1993 during a boundary redistribution. Progressive Conservative MLA Peter Sandhu won the riding in 2008 and 2012. He was defeated by Gurcharan Garcha for the PC’s 2015 nomination, who lost to Sweet in the provincial election.
