History
The Edmonton-Glenora district was originally created in 1971 out of a boundary redistribution. The riding was changed after the 2010 boundary redistribution on its north and west sides.
Hoffman won the seat in 2015 from Heather Klimchuck, who was the Progressive Conservative MLA for the riding for two terms.
