Peel Regional Police are investigating after a 27-year-old man was shot in Brampton overnight.
Officers responded to the call around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday at a residence in the area of Williams Parkway and Murray Street.
Police said a male victim was in a garage when he was approached by an unknown suspect and shot.

He was rushed to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries, but his condition has since been upgraded to stable.
Authorities have not released any information about the motive of the shooting or possible suspects.
