Edmonton police say missing 10-year-old girl has been found safe

Edmonton police say a 10-year-old girl who was reported missing Wednesday morning has been found.

Jathiya Okyere was last seen in the area of 136 Avenue and 38 street on Tuesday morning. It’s believed she was riding a pink bike with a Canadian flag and princess stickers on it.

On Wednesday afternoon, police said Okyere had been found by family members and that she was “safe and sound.”
