Woodstock Police are asking for the public’s help after an automated external defibrillator was stolen from a local baseball diamond.
Police say the city’s Parks Department notified police about the theft on Monday, and that it disappeared sometime within the past two weeks from Jack Dunn Park, at the Community Complex property.
An AED is an electronic device used to treat life-threatening heart conditions like sudden cardiac arrest.
Anyone with information about the theft is urged to contact Woodstock Police Service at 519-537-2323 or Crime Stoppers 421-TIPS (8477) or toll-free at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
