A woman has died after being swept away in Rubble Creek at Garibaldi Provincial Park outside of Squamish.
Sources tell Global News a 23-year-old woman from Burnaby and a 27-year-old Surrey man were trying to cool off in Rubble Creek and underestimated the force of the water.

The man managed to escape with minor injuries but the woman drowned.
Search-and-rescue crews located the deceased woman approximately 800 metres downstream from the creek.
