For the second day in a row, Hamilton Police have laid charges against one of their own.
A 17-year member of the service was arrested Friday morning in an off-duty incident involving to a single-vehicle collision and a parked car.
Const. Jerome Stewart is charged with driving with over 80 mgs of alcohol in his blood.
The 51-year-old has been assigned to administrative duties and will appear in court Aug. 23.
Another officer, a 35-year-old constable, was charged Thursday with failing to remain at the scene of an accident.
