Members of Saskatchewan’s ICE unit started investigating a person on July 5 who was allegedly posting and sharing child pornography through an image sharing service.

Investigators identified a location on the Little Red River First Nation where they believed the offences were taking place.

Police searched the location on July 24, and seized a cellphone. A laptop was seized at a second location.

Drake Lacerte, 21, was arrested and is charged with making child pornography, making child pornography available, and possession of child pornography.

Lacerte appeared in Prince Albert provincial court on Wednesday and will make another court appearance Thursday morning.
