Foul play not suspected in missing Mount Forest woman’s death: OPP

Wellington County OPP say foul play is not suspected in the death of a 50-year-old woman who was reported missing in June.

Catherine Ann Buckle was last seen on June 30 in Mount Forest and at the time police believed she may have made her way to Owen Sound.

Human remains were located by OPP officers in a wooded area near North Water Street in Mount Forest on the morning of July 17.

Late last week, police confirmed it was Buckle’s body and on Tuesday police said that no foul play was suspected in her death.
