One person was killed Monday afternoon in a crash near Airdrie.
Emergency responders were called to the scene near the intersection of Highway 567 and Range Road 282 just before 3 p.m.

RCMP said an SUV and motorcycle collided on the highway.
EMS said the driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene and one occupant of the SUV was airlifted to hospital in Calgary.
The circumstances surrounding the crash were not known as of 4:30 p.m.
Police said officers were expected to be on the scene for several hours and traffic was being diverted as officials conducted their investigation.
