Police watchdog says no charges against Thompson RCMP officers

The Independent Investigation Unit says officers will face no charges after a man suffered a broken rib during arrest in Thompson.

On March 13, RCMP were called to remove a drunk man from a residence and had to chase the man down and tackle him.  The man complained about pain in his side, was taken to hospital and was found to have a broken rib.
