A covert drug trafficking investigation performed by the Regina Police Service (RPS), identified six people allegedly involved in the trafficking of controlled substances and possession and trafficking of firearms.
The substances involved include cocaine, methamphetamine and fentanyl.
This investigation resulted in the arrest and charge of Regina residents Devin Irving, Gaeton Rozon, Tyson Wendler, Kyle Otway and Maiji Eashappie. Vancouver resident Bruce Rusk was also arrested. The charged individuals range in age from 25 to 29 years old.

Rusk faces a total of 22 charges, Rozon and Otway have been charged with 11 offences, Irving and Eashappie face ten charges and Wendler has been charged with six offences. The charges are a variety of drug, firearm and other criminal offences.
Irving made his first court appearance on July 12
Six sites were searched with Canadian Drug and Substances Act warrants. Evidence collected includes fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana, Xanax, Canadian currency, firearms, ammunition and Taser devices.
Police said the enforcement aspect of this investigation occurred between July 13 and 14. This is when the other five were arrested. They were remanded into custody, and made their first court appearances Monday morning.
This multi-faceted investigation was supported by resources and investigators from Regina Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit, the Regina Police Service Street Gang Unit and Stolen Auto Unit, along with the Emergency Services Special Weapons and Tactics Team, Patrol and K9.
