TORONTO – Canadian stars Cory Monteith and Elisha Cuthbert will join actress Blake Lively — who’s husband is Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds — in Toronto tonight for the official opening of a new Target store.
Cuthbert’s fiance, Toronto Maple Leafs player Dion Phaneuf, will also attend the media event at Shoppers World Danforth at Danforth Avenue and Victoria Park Avenue. The store opens to the public Thursday morning.
Calgary-born Cory Monteith stars on the Global series Glee and has made several appearances in Toronto to promote Virgin Mobile and the Raising the Roof campaign. Cuthbert, also a Calgary native, stars on Happy Endings and lives part-time in a downtown Toronto condo with Phaneuf. She was recently spotted attending a Toronto Fashion Week event.
Lively, best known for her run on Gossip Girl, spent time in Sudbury, Ont. this winter while Reynolds filmed scenes for Queen of the Night.
