You might get a bit of a shock at the gas pump.
As of Tuesday, many stations across the city are hiking their prices, selling gas for $1.19 per litre.

That’s up from the $1.11 per litre on Wednesday morning.
“You will see days where we are probably going to go well above $1.30,” explained Dan McTeague, senior petroleum analyst with GasBuddy.com.

“They’re likely to stay there for a little while.”
McTeague said wholesale prices have increased in both western Canada and the US Midwest.
