Montreal police investigate Saint-Laurent vehicle fire

Montreal police were called about a vehicle fire in a parking lot on Alexis-Nihon Boulevard near Scott Street at 2:50 a.m. Tuesday.

Police found a parked passenger van engulfed in flames when they arrived on the scene.

” [Montreal] firefighters were called and the fire was put out quickly,” said Montreal police spokesperson Véronique Comtois.

The vehicle was towed to the arson lab for further investigation. Police did not have a suspect.
