Two arrested in melee at Crestwood Secondary School near Peterborough

Peterborough police say two people have been arrested and charged following a fight at Crestwood Secondary School on Friday.

The incident happened around the lunch hour at the west-end school on Brealey Drive.

Two students tell CHEX News that several students from another school were looking for a Grade 10 student. A fight broke out in the front lobby area when another student asked them to leave.

The students also say a teacher was injured when she tried to intervene.

Police have yet to offer any details on the altercation but said any injuries sustained were “minor in nature.”

Police said the investigation is ongoing.
