Spring hasn’t fully sprung yet as another two to four centimetres of snow are expected for Friday morning.
The snow should subside later Friday morning, but there’s a 60 per cent chance of rain or flurries returning for in the afternoon.
Although no weather alerts are in place, strong winds will be picking up.
“Just a couple centimetres of snow this morning. However, in behind we’ll have a brief break, but we will have some stronger winds developing for this afternoon and into early this evening” said Kelly Hobelman from Environment Canada on Friday.
Wind gust could reach up 70 km/hour, Hobelman said.
Environment Canada projected this weekend’s temperatures to be averaging at zero degrees. There will be Sunshine and clouds this Saturday and Sunday, with no chance of precipitation.
The chilly weather continues through early next week, although warmer weather is on the horizon. Next Thursday and Friday, the temperature will jump up to double-digit highs. Thursday will be 11 C and Friday 14 C.
