A Winnipeg man is dead after a stabbing in the West End.
Police were called to the 500 block of Agnes Street at 7:50 p.m. Wednesday, where they found the man in critical condition and rushed him to hospital. He died shortly after.

The victim has been identified as 42-year-old Gilbert Chartrand.
Police remained on scene early Thursday morning and are continuing to investigate.
