It’s the most wonderful time of year… for Manitoba car enthusiasts.
The 44th annual Piston Ring World of Wheels show hits Winnipeg this weekend, featuring some of the top hot rods, customs, trucks and motorcycles from Manitoba and around North America.
World of Wheels Winnipeg organizer Bob Chubala said there are lots of new things to see at this year’s show. Only two rides that were on display last year are repeated — Chubala said he likes to keep the event “fresh”.
Global News Morning got a preview of some of the rides on display over the weekend and chatted with some of the car owners.

The show runs Friday from 3-10 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m.-10 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. at the RBC Convention Centre.
