Suspect wanted after man stabbed in break-and-enter in east-end Toronto: police

Police are on the hunt for a male suspect after a man was stabbed following a break-and-enter in east-end Toronto.

Toronto police responded to a call just before noon on Tuesday in the area of Kingston and Brimley roads.

Police said a resident spotted someone breaking into his home. The resident was stabbed in the leg when he confronted the suspect.

Authorities said the suspect was also injured in the altercation and fled the scene. He is believed to be bleeding seriously.

Police have not released a description of the suspect.
