OSHAWA, Ont. – Durham regional police say the Special Investigations Unit has been called after a pursuit in Oshawa, ended in a collision.

Police say officers were attempting to stop a stolen vehicle late Tuesday night when it collided with a police cruiser.

Investigators say three boys who were in the vehicle fled on foot but were arrested, one of them requiring hospitalization for injuries suffered during the incident.

They say a 17-year-old and two 15-year-olds from Toronto face numerous charges including possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

Police are appealing for anyone with information about the incident to contact the SIU.
