Saskatoon police believe a shooting that left a teen with a gunshot wound to his hand was not a random act.
Officers were called to St. Paul’s Hospital at around 6:30 p.m. CT Sunday after a 14-year-old boy sought treatment for a gunshot wound to his hand.
He told officers he had been shot in the 400-block of Avenue J South around 30 minutes earlier and made his way to hospital.

Police said there are several suspects involved but no arrests have been made.
Investigators said the victim and the suspects are known to each other.
