Serious crime investigators were questioning her on Monday.

“It’s the first opportunity we’ve had to speak to this woman,” says RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Dan Moskaluk. “The investigation is in its infancy. We’re trying to determine exactly what happened, when it happened and where it happened.”

Investigators believe the victim was deliberately targetted.

“It’s our understanding this incident does not pose a threat to the general public,” says Moskaluk.

Police are not releasing the woman’s name.
