OPP search for information in hockey stick heist

The OPP in Huron County are looking for a suspect, or suspects, who made off with more than $1,200 worth of hockey sticks from a facility northeast of Exeter.

Police say the theft from the Seaforth Generals Junior Hockey Club locker room in the Seaforth and District Community Centre happened over the weekend.

Eight composite sticks were swiped. Officers have described them as follows:

  • Four, right-handed CCM Super Tacks 2.0, p28 curve pattern, 85 flex
  • Three, right-handed CCM Super Tacks 2.0, p28 curve pattern, 75 flex
  • One, left-handed Warrior QRL pro Backstrom curve, 85 flex
