Homicide officers investigating after man fatally shot in Brampton

A man has died after a shooting in Brampton‘s west end Monday afternoon.

Peel Regional Police said they were called to the area of Cumberland Drive and Vodden Street East, near Kennedy Road North, at around 2:40 p.m.

Police said the man, who is believed to be in his 30s, was found with multiple gunshot wounds. He died at the scene.

A police spokesperson said the man is connected to Brampton, but they did not say if he lives in the city. They haven’t released his identity since his family was still being notified.

Officers haven’t released suspect information.
