One man dead, another in custody after Lord Selkirk Park break-in

A 27-year-old man is dead after being stabbed at a home in the 100 block of Charles Walk Feb. 14.

Police said emergency crews received a report of a stabbing just before 9 a.m. Wednesday.

A man was rushed to hospital but later died. He was identified as Conrad Flett, 27, from St. Theresa Point.

Police said the victim was staying at his new girlfriend’s home. A man broke in, stabbed Flett and left.

Officials arrested a suspect Thursday morning in Westdale.

Jarryd Rocky Harper, 25, from Winnipeg, has been charged with second degree murder.
