Winnipeg police were called to an apartment building near the Courts of St. James off Booth Drive early Wednesday.
Const. Rob Carver confirmed they were investigating the death of man.
Police received a ‘well-being’ call just before 3 a.m. and consider the death accidental.

Residents told a Global News camera person on scene they heard loud banging on several doors around 3 a.m

Carver said police had attended a previous call, at around 12:50 a.m., in the West Portage area where they dealt with a man who was taken to hospital.
They believe the man who died is the same man who had been taken to hospital earlier.
