Once the information is entered, an electronic notification is send to the card holder.
Updates are then processed within two business days.
“We continue to look for ways to improve the timeliness, efficiency and quality of our services,” said Health Minister Dustin Duncan.
“This 24/7 online service provides and easy and streamlined process for our residents to more efficiently update their health card.”
The government introduced online applications for health cards in December 2011, with approximately 17,000 applications made since then.
