Three teen girls have pleaded guilty in the stabbing death of a Mississauga man.
Hayder Qasim-Rushdi, 32, walked into the Pioneer Gas station at 333 Upper Centennial Parkway on April 27 with stab wounds to his neck. Police say he drove his car to the gas station at about 2:30 a.m. and was found soaked in blood, suffering life-threatening injuries.
Qasim-Rushdi died a few days later in hospital.
The 17-year-old from Hamilton pleaded guilty to manslaughter. The 18-year-old and 17-year-old from Toronto pleaded guilty to robbery.
All three were working as escorts and under 18 at the time of the incident. They cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
They were originally charged with second-degree murder.
They will be sentenced in the New Year.
