Actor Matt Damon is sharing his thoughts on sexual misconduct — again.
In an interview with Business Insider, Damon was asked whether Hollywood’s Harvey Weinstein fallout would make him conscious of working with a collaborator accused of sexual misconduct.
“That always went into my thinking,” he claimed. “I mean, I wouldn’t want to work with somebody who — life’s too short for that. But the question of if somebody had allegations against them, you know, it would be a case-by-case basis. You go, ‘What’s the story here?'”

Damon went on to say that not all men in Hollywood are despicable. “We’re in this watershed moment and it’s great but I think one thing that’s not being talked about is there are a whole sh**load of guys — the preponderance of men I’ve worked with — who don’t do this kind of thing and whose lives aren’t going to be affected,” Damon said.
Damon continued: “If I have to sign a sexual harassment thing, I don’t care, I’ll sign it. I would have signed it before. I don’t do that and most of the people I know don’t do that.”

The actor was under fire last week for comments he made on ABC’s Popcorn with Peter Travers regarding sexual misconduct in Hollywood.
He mentioned that he believes not all of the actions should be viewed in the same way.

“I think it’s wonderful that women are feeling empowered to tell their stories and it’s totally necessary,” Damon said in an upcoming edition of Popcorn with Peter Travers.
“I do believe there’s a spectrum of behaviour … There’s a difference between patting someone on the butt and rape or child molestation, right? Both of those behaviours need to be confronted and eradicated without question, but they shouldn’t be conflated,” the Oscar winner shared.

Damon also shared that he speaks to his friends when accusations against them emerge.
“It depends on what the accusation is. It depends what’s going on,” Damon said. “If it’s a friend of mine, I’m always talking to them. I know the real story if it’s my friend. If it’s a colleague … I don’t know … I guess it depends on the situation and the allegation and how believable I think it is.”
