Thursday marks an unfortunate anniversary – Winnipeg teacher Kevin Dilk went missing one year ago.

Dilk, a French teacher from Collège Béliveau, disappeared Nov. 23, 2016. He was last seen in St. Boniface.

Const. Rob Carver of the Winnipeg Police Service said the missing persons case is still open.

“We want to remind the public, hopefully generate some renewed interest, maybe jog somebody’s memory.  It has been a year since Kevin Dilk has gone missing. We want to balance that with the needs of the family. We want to respect their right to privacy and the understanding that this is a difficult day for them,” Carver said.

The investigation is ongoing.
