London police were called to reports of a shooting in the city’s south end and found a woman with life-threatening injuries and a deceased male nearby.
Emergency crews were called to the scene on Wilton Grove Road, just east of Old Victoria Road, at around 2 p.m. Tuesday.
Police confirm a woman was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A deceased male was located nearby and police say no suspects are being sought at this time. The investigation has been turned over to the Major Crime Section.
Linda lives in an apartment near the property. She says she was sitting at her table writing Christmas card when she heard the sirens.
“My dog let one bark out and all of the sudden I heard the sirens coming. Then more, and more, and more. There were 16 cruisers,” she said.
“What drew my attention was all the sirens, so I walked out to see what was going on,” said Dave Sheppard, owner of the property across the street on Wilton Grove Road.
“It’s very unusual. It’s a pretty quiet neighborhood, everybody gets along,” he said
