As London police continue to investigate the death of Josephine (Josie) Glenn, a new court date has been scheduled for a suspect charged in connection with the case.

Glenn, 26, was reported missing Oct. 23; her remains were found Oct. 27 at an address on South Leaksdale Circle, where police also arrested a suspect.

Oluwatobi Boyede, 25, is charged with second-degree murder and offering an indignity to a human body.

He appeared in court via video Friday morning and was remanded in custody with a new court date set for Nov. 10.

Boyede is also set to appear in court in person on March 5, 2018 in connection with a separate case. Court records show Boyede faces charges of assault, sexual assault, choking, and forcible confinement.

Meantime, city services spent much of the week assisting members of the marine unit and the major crime unit in emptying the drainage pond in Meadowgate Park in the Summerside subdivision, though police remained tight-lipped about what they might find.

“We’re still looking for additional evidence,” said Const. Sandasha Bough previously told 980 CFPL, citing a court-imposed publication ban on the specifics of what the evidence might be.
