Parked car set on fire in Montreal’s Plateau borough

Montreal police responded to a call about a car fire on Henri-Julien near Beaubien Avenue Friday at around 2:15 a.m.

The car was parked on the side of the street between two other vehicles.

“We found that the car was reported stolen earlier on,” said Montreal police spokesperson Manuel Couture.

No suspects were arrested, there were no injuries and no damage to neighbouring vehicles or buildings.
