BC Lions’ losing streak continues

The BC Lions have extended their losing streak to five games, after a 35-29 overtime loss to the Edmonton Eskimos.

The Lions saw touchdowns from Alex Ross, Bryan Burnham and Mike Benson, alongside two flawless field goal attempts from Ty Long.

Adarius Bowman, Mike Reilly and Cory Watson were all good for touchdowns for the Eskimos, who erased a 16-point deficit with mere minutes to go in the fourth quarter.

Before the game, wide receiver Marco Iannuzzi announced his retirement, saying this season would be his last.

The Lions will go on to play the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on Saturday, Oct. 28.
