One-half of the original Ghostbusters, Dan Akroyd and Bill Murray, stopped in to The Pizza Place in Harrowsmith, Ont., Saturday night.

“Wow, this is neat. This is cool,” The Pizza Place manager Scott Burns recalls thinking to himself.

Akroyd, who is from nearby Kingston, is a regular customer and decided to stop for help after his 1940 Buick overheated.

“Seeing Mr. Murray was quite interesting. I shared (a photo) on our Facebook page and it just got huge,” Burns said.

The photo has been ‘liked’ thousands of times and shared several hundred more.

The pair stayed for dinner — even asking to switch the television from the Maple Leafs and Canadiens hockey game — to the NLCS — featuring Murray’s beloved Chicago Cubs.

Burns said they ordered pizza, lasagna, salads and drinks.
