Issac Moffat-Swasson, Quebec fugitive, possibly spotted in Miramichi

The Miramichi Police Force has had reports that Issac Moffat-Swasson, 27, may have been spotted in the city.

A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for Moffat-Swasson, who is unlawfully at large from a custodial sentence.

Moffat-Swasson is from Listuguj First Nation in Quebec.

On Friday, RCMP issued a news release informing people that he may be in the Restigouche County area.

Now, officers say they had reports that Moffat-Swasson was seen in the City of Miramichi over the weekend.

Moffat-Swasson is described as six-foot-one, 200 pounds, with brown eyes and a shaved head.

He has several prominent tattoos on his face, neck, arms, chest and back — including a crown on top of his left eyebrow and black tear drops under both eyes.

Anyone who may have information on Issac Moffat-Swasson’s whereabouts is asked to not approach him but call RCMP, the Miramichi Police Force or Crime Stoppers.
