Abbotsford police are searching for a suspect who stabbed a man at a house party late Saturday night.
Police were called to a home in the 2200 block of Clearbrook Road just before midnight. Upon arrival, officers found a 22-year-old man suffering from three stab wounds.
It’s believed the victim was stabbed by the suspect, a 30-year-old male, after getting into a heated argument during the party. Police say both men are known to each other.
The victim was treated at the scene by first responders and transported to hospital in serious, but non-life-threatening condition.
The suspect fled on foot and is still at large.
The Major Crime Unit of the Abbotsford Police Department has taken over the case. Anyone with information is asked to contact police immediately.
