A Winnipegger is dead after he crashed his motorcycle early Saturday morning.
29-year-old Leyland McDougal was riding northbound near London Street and Amelia Crescent just before 2 a.m. when he lost control.

Police say McDougal sustained critical injuries on scene and was transferred to hospital, where he later died.
He was not wearing a helmet at the time.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
The Central Traffic Collision Investigation Unit is continuing to investigate.
