Calgary police seek woman accused of stealing from yoga studios

Calgary police are looking to the public for help identifying a woman they allege stole people’s property from various yoga studios throughout the city.

In a Tuesday news release, police said the woman was spotted in at least three different Calgary yoga studios where she allegedly stole driver’s licences, credit cards and debit cards.

The thefts are alleged to have happened between Saturday, Sept. 2 and Monday, Sept. 11.

Police describe the woman as being in her late 30s to early 40s, standing approximately 5-7 to 5-9 and weighing roughly 140 pounds, with shoulder-length, light brown hair.

Anyone with information on her identity is asked to call the Calgary Police Service non-emergency line at 403-266-1234 or contact Crime Stoppers.
