Hamilton police have released some grainy surveillance footage as they continue to investigate a widespread act of vandalism.
They are trying to determine who is responsible for smashing the glass out of 19 Hamilton Street Railway bus shelters on Sept. 19.
It happened between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m. and detectives have located video surveillance of a black pickup truck they believe was used in the incident.
Many of the smashed shelters were at bus stops along Main and Barton in the city’s east end.
Others were on Hamilton mountain along Fennell Avenue and on Garth Street, near the mountain brow.
