Environment Canada is forecasting a record-breaking 28 C on Sunday.

The heat and humidity have cancelled only the marathon event; the half marathon and the 10-kilometre races have been scheduled to start earlier in the morning.

The half marathon will start an hour earlier at 7:30 a.m.

The juniors le P’tit Marathon five-kilometre and the one-kilometre Tel-Jeunes races will not be affected by the cancellation and they will still be held on Saturday at their scheduled time.
