New Brunswick RCMP investigating incidents of farm animals being stolen, wounded and killed

A series of incidents involving farm animals being stolen, injured or killed in Haut-Madawaska, N.B. has the RCMP looking for answers.

Police say that sometime during the week of Aug. 21, two cows were stolen from a farm in the Village of Caron.

Near the end of the month, officers say two farm animals from a farm in the village of Clair were shot and injured.

Finally, between Sept. 7 and Sept. 9 a cow was shot and killed at a farm in the village of Saint-François.

The RCMP don’t know if the three incidents are related.

They say their investigation is ongoing.
