A mellow Sean Spicer drops by ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’
The ex-communications officer showed up on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday night and he spoke rather candidly about his time with Trump, and even cracked a few smiles. This was his first extensive interview since his departure from the White House.
Spicer admitted that he had an alert on his phone for every time Trump tweeted. It turns out, as many people thought, that Trump didn’t seek his press secretary’s approval before tweeting.
When Kimmel asks Spicer if he ever received notification a tweet was coming, he replied “maybe once or twice.”
Spicer also addressed Melissa McCarthy’s infamous Saturday Night Live impersonation of him, saying it was “kind of funny.”
