The man was taken to hospital with serious injuries. He has since been released and continues with his rehabilitation.

Police say the driver did not stop but based on evidence collected at the scene, the corner portion of the front driver’s side headlight of the Camry was damaged in the collision.

“The evidence left at the scene by the early 1990s Toyota Camry leaves little doubt the occupants knew they hit something,” says Const. Jason Doucette in a release. “With the information about the damaged headlight, and the vehicle make and model, we are hopeful someone will come forward to help us figure out what happened.”

Investigators from the VPD’s Collision Investigation Unit would like occupants of the vehicle to contact them to help determine what took place and are asking the driver, or anyone with information about this incident, to contact them at 604-717-3012.
