Buffalo Narrows RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a man wanted for abduction and extortion charges in northern Saskatchewan.
An arrest warrant was issued for Lyle Jacques Chartier, 24, after an incident on Sept. 10 involving his girlfriend and children in Buffalo Narrows.

Both Chartier’s girlfriend and children have been found and are safe.
RCMP said Chartier is facing charges of abduction, extortion, uttering threats, taking an automobile without consent and impaired driving.

Buffalo Narrows is approximately 465 kilometres north of Saskatoon.
