A 48-year-old Fort McMurray man has been charged in connection with a fatal collision in northern Alberta last week.
At around 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 6, police were called to a collision between a vehicle and two pedestrians on Real Martin Drive in Fort McMurray.
A 52-year-old woman and a 56-year-old man, both from Fort McMurray, were declared dead shortly after the crash, RCMP said. Their names were not released by police.
The driver of the vehicle was arrested at the scene.

On Monday, police said Warren Anthony Graham was charged with two counts of dangerous driving causing death. He was released on bail and is set to appear in Fort McMurray provincial court on Sept. 20.
