Woman dead in Saskatoon crash between scooter and gravel truck

A woman is dead after a crash in Saskatoon on Friday afternoon.

The crash between a gravel truck and a scooter happened near the intersection of Avenue F South and 20th Street West.

Saskatoon police said the 55-year-old woman driving the scooter was rushed to hospital where she later died from her injuries.

Her name has not been released.

Traffic restrictions are expected to be in place for several hours as the collision analyst unit investigates.
